How to Make a Solar Nighlight

I definitely don't consider myself a tree hugger, but I am a believer in being a good steward of the planet God has given us. A friend sent me a link to this "green" project, and I thought it would make a great project for the homeschoolers. Making a solar nightlight would be a memorable hands-on lesson about solar energy and you'd end up with a unique nighlight with an automatic shutoff (since the stored solar energy only lasts a few hours). I'm looking forward to making one of these with Joely this summer.

I think that is cool for non-homechoolers, too!
I'll be back so I can do this during the summer!
