Thirteen Great Christian Fiction Authors [First Edition]

th13.jpg

This is my very first "Thursday Thirteen," and since I'm such a book nut (my dad suggests I should drop the "book" part) I thought I'd give you a list of thirteen great Christian fiction authors—in no particular order. Happy reading!

  1. Randy Alcorn
  2. Angela Hunt
  3. Francine Rivers
  4. Karen Kingsbury
  5. Terri Blackstock
  6. Tricia Goyer
  7. Robert Whitlow
  8. James Scott Bell
  9. George MacDonald
  10. Ted Dekker
  11. Robin Lee Hatcher
  12. Beverly Lewis
  13. Lynn Austin

I just read "All Together in One Place" by Jane Kirkpatrick. She is so good at writing historical fiction. It was about women traveling on the Oregon Trail.

I loved Ted Dekker's The Circle Trilogy and Francine Rivers' Redeeming Love. I think that's all I've read off your list…I'm not a big Christian fiction fan. I'd rather read classics.

This is only my 2nd T13: 13 Old Lessons I'm Still Learning. Welcome to the madness!

Oh, also, I participate in a group book blog called the Book Nook Club. We review many Christian fiction books (and lots of others too), if you want to check it out/join us! <a href="http://booknookclub.blogspot.com

Terri Blackstock's books are some of my favorites!! I've only read from a few of those you have listed so I'll have to add the others to my list of "to be read" authors! 🙂

I recognize Terri Blackstock and Beverly Lewis from my time working in various bookstores. One author whose works I remember seeing quite a bit was Janette Oke.

Another great Christian book that i think everyone should read is "The Shack" by William P. Young. This book is so powerful. I highly reccomend it!!
