The Dinner Challenge: Day One

100_1631

Not a good start for my dinner challenge week.

Dinner was a bust today. The recipe I chose, slow cooker barbecue chicken, was entirely too spicy. I actually liked it, but Jeff will probably have horrible indigestion the rest of the night. Jaden thought it was okay, but it had such a kick he had to stop for a sip of water between bites. Jerah gave it a try but couldn't finish it.

After observing the rest of the family's reaction to the meal, Joely decided not to try it at all. Smart girl.

Hopefully tomorrow's Beef and Tomato Bake will be better.

One of the goals with this cooking challenge with Amanda is to help each of us develop a master menu plan by the end of June. With that end in mind, we'll each be hosting a Mr. Linky next Monday where you can link up any of your favorite dinner recipes. We'd love to add them to our menus!

You can also link up your breakfast recipes here and your lunch recipes here.
