Two thirds of a menu plan is better than none.
I'm going to make a concerted effort this week to make breakfasts and dinners. Lunches will be Yo-Yo since that's what my kids seem to prefer anyway and since everyone always seems to be hungry for lunch at different times. Here's my plan for this upcoming week. Some of the dinners were on last week's menu plan, but I didn't get a chance to make them last week.
Breakfasts:
- Chocolate Buttermilk Muffins (with some healthier changes)
- Oven Omelet
- Bagels (store-bought from the bread outlet)
- Waffles
- PB & Chocolate Baked Oatmeal
- Cold Cereal
Dinners:
- Mama Zesty's Famous Meatloaf
- Deviled Chicken
- Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff
- Breakfast Frittata
- Fajitas from the grill
- Ranch Chicken and Bacon Pasta Salad

All of those meals sound good! Your breakfasts sound especially good to me: we usually just eat cold cereal for breakfast. 🙂

You've inspired me to have a plan for breakfast & lunch – even if we don't follow it, I have a plan so I don't have to be spontaneously creative when I don't feel that way… if that makes sense! I won't get caught flat-footed when ds begs to hit the drive-thru while we're out, because I have a PLAN. However, if we need to take advantage of Sonic's $1 menu, I don't feel terribly guilty because we stick to the plan most of the time. 🙂
