My first stamp!

We're planning to go on our first Letterboxing outing on Monday, so we're making our stamps today. And I'm happy to say that my first stamp was a success!

Joely's "Trail Name" for Letterboxing is Tigger Lily, so I traced a picture of Tigger from one of our books and transfered it onto a rubber carving block. Then I used some old wood carving nibs to cut it out; it only took about 20 minutes.

The end result was so much better than I expected. I just might have a new hobby!

What an awesome stamp! Are you sure you haven't done this before?

My children and I have enjoyed letterboxing for almost a year now… the fascination only gets worse! LOL

    Have fun!
