Interactive Map of European History

Studying european history? Then you need to look into the interactive map link below.

Several years ago we bought a world history atlas that shows the political divisions of the world at different points in history. It's come in handy several times as we studied history.

Now there's an similar type of map for European history available online.

You choose your period of history, from before 900 B.C. all the way up to modern time. What did Europe look like during the Classical Period? The Crusades? The Renaissance? The Napoleonic Wars? Just click the date, and you're presented with a color coded map. Hover over the text titles and a detailed explanation pops up.

You'll want to bookmark this interactive map of Europe so you can use it as an additional resource when your kids study Europe.

Thanks for posting this! We are just at this point in history and I recently finished reading Dr. Zhivago so the map has been very helpful and informative for our homeschool and for me personally.
