Incredible Aerial Photography of the World

Photography from the sky. The incredible aerial photography of the world is breathtaking.

Take a few minutes and look through these gorgeous aerial photographs by Yann Arthus-Bertrand with your kids. These beautiful images explore the beauty and uniqueness of our world and its diverse cultures.

Here are couple of my favorites, but there are many, many more to be seen here. If you look at the full set of photos, I'd love to hear which ones are your favorites!

Suburbs in Copenhagen, Denmark
Coal Mines in South Africa

I like the one of the military cemetery in France. Striking! I also like the one of the bazaar in Istanbul cause we live in Turkey right now. They are all amazing pictures! Thanks so much for sharing!!

I would have to say one of my favorites is the Denver, USA as I grew up in a Denver neighborhood just like that. I loved the Military Cemetery in Verdun, it captures the magnitude of how many men fought for freedom in a way numbers on paper never could. I also loved the Pigeon Houses in Egypt, it is so alien looking.

Simply amazing! I love the photo of the Amazon River in Brazil. I spent some time there in Ecuador. I also love the castle in Germany, just beautiful.
