Free Online Test Generator

Having to make your own tests can be time consuming. I found an online test generator that may reduce this time immensely.

I'm not generally a fan of tests, but sometimes I find them necessary. For some subjects, tests help me evaluate progress and give my children a concrete goal to study for. Not every curriculum, however, includes ready-to-use tests. That means I end up having to make the tests myself, and it's not something I look forward to doing.

But tonight I found a free online test creator that promises to cut down on my test-making time.

EasyTestMaker is a web-based application that allows you to create and print a variety of tests, including true/false, matching, short answer, fill in the blank, and multiple choice. Although you're required to sign up for an account before you can create any tests, EastTestMaker is completely free to use. The free account seems to be adequate for most test-making needs, but you can also pay for an upgrade to access additional features.

Have you used EasyTestMaker before? Do you have other suggestions for online test generators?

Looks like you are getting lots of new visitors!! Thanks for the link – it is awesome. I wrote a nutrition unit for the kids and I am adding questions to it as we go through. It will make a great final for the unit. As well as a good intro to 'tests' for my k/1st grader.

    Still loving your site!!
