Here are some educational links I bookmarked this week. You don't have to homeschool to enjoy these links.
Phylo: The Trading Card Game bills itself as a Pokemon card type resource but with real creatures — namely animals of all shapes and sizes — on display in full “artistic” wonder. Looks quite interesting. Click the image to see a sample of the cards full-size.
Memorize.com is another way to study online. Create your own, or study using the sets others have already made.
How-to-Draw Tutorial Cheat Sheets. From drawing animals to people, this site has a number of superb, image-based tutorials.
How to Draw the Nose is another well-written drawing tutorial your budding artist may enjoy.
Because Every Country Is Best At Something is not necessarily educational in the most practical sense, but this over-sized interactive graphic is an interesting way to explore our world.
