Joy is the wife of Jeff and mom to three more J's — Jaden, Jerah, and Joely.
She and her husband have been homeschooling their children since 2005, when their children were 3, 6, and 8. Joy works from home as a web & graphic designer and spends what little free time she has with her nose buried in a good book.
Joy's motto for parenting, homeschooling, and even business is “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” And that's what FiveJs.com is all about — teaching our children to "fish."

Looks like he is having fun!

That's hilarious. True though, isn't it? The Wii is great for everyone, except he looks like my kids who have figured out you don't actually have to stand and move to play the sports. You can just sit on the couch. Hey, thanks for dropping by my site and leaving a comment. Your site is super cute and helpful. I'll be back!

I heard that a local nursing home is using Wii for therapy. It's cool…my 3 year old has played Mario Kart with his grandfather.

I wasn't sure what to expect when clicking on your thing in 5 min for mom, lol. But this is cute. Great for all ages! A great mind sharpener for all ages too!

@Joelle, Does he blog? Well, I've tried to convince him to start one — he has lots to say! But so far, no dice.

@Abundant Frugal Life, Actually he's playing Blazing Angels, a WWII airplane game, so sitting is actually the appropriate posture. My father has been a pilot all his life, so I thought that this would be a great game with which to introduce him to the Wii.

I like this picture. This reminds me of my father using his ipod. He still doesn't know how to upload music to it, all he knows how to do is press play.

How cool! WE got dh's mom bowling on the Wii at her house and then got my dad to play golf at my brother's house.

Great picture! We got my dh's grandpa a WII for his 80th birthday last year. He went right home and set it up and bowled all night long! Now he has joined a Wii Bowling League at their local Moose Lodge!
