RSSJoy's husband, Jeff, here. I spoke with Joy about 1 PM, and she said the surgery went very well. Apparently, once they were in there, they discovered only three bypasses were needed, and the mitral value only needed repair, not complete replacement. (Something to do with pressure being released on the value with the completion of the bypasses. I'm sure Joy will explain it better once she's back in the saddle.)
Thank you everyone for your prayers. We know the fervent prayers of righteous servants accomplish much.
Please continue to pray not only for Helen's recovery and rehab, but also for Joy's flight back on Wednesday.

Thanks so much for the update Jeff. I am so glad everything went well and that things were not as bad as they had seemed. I'm sure you and the three little Js are missing Joy and I hope you're doing okay. Helen, Joy, and all of you will continue to be in our prayers.
