Sometime last year I found out about a fantastic online resource for free, but very well-made Bible curriculum. Bible Class Books offers a wide variety of curriculum free for download, including Old and New Testament studies and topical lesson for both children and adults. It's a treasure of a resource for Christian homeschooling families.
The curriculum we've decided to use in our homeschool is called "Instilling Values in our Children." This particular curriculum is separated into sections, each one focused on a different value:
- Affection
- Chastity
- Contentment
- Courage
- Forgiveness
- Friendship
- Honesty
- Kindness
- Respect
- Responsibility
- Self-Control
- Work Ethic
Although we've only made it through two of the topics so far, I've really liked the curriculum. It's been a great way to teach the real-life application of Biblical truths.
Most of the curriculum on Bible Class Books is available for download as PDFs, but when I went to the website this last year, the "Instilling Values" curriculum was only available online. So I copied the curriculum text from the website onto my computer, formatted it, and printed out copies for our own use.
I like the curriculum so much that I contacted David Padfield, one of the contributors for Bible Class Books, and asked for permission to be able to distribute the PDF version that I created of the "Instilling Values" curriculum. He graciously granted permission, so I've included the complete "Instilling Values in Our Children" curriclum here for your personal use. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for the info. I am just wondering exactly how you use this with your children? Do you just read it to them and discuss? Thanks in advance.

@Denise, My husband reads over each lesson himslef, and then he discusses it with the kids. It usually takes about an hour for them to get through half a lesson.
The curriculum can sometimes go a little deep, so my husband words it in a way that is understandable for our kids. My 2nd grader listens in and comments, but she of course doesn't grasp the full meaning of what we talk about. At the same time, she gets the basic message of the discussion which is what is important.
