If I added other toppings, that would increase the cost, but the kids really prefer it plain! Hope that helps you!! Sorry for the double post!

I make the crust, which is sometimes whole wheat and sometimes sourdough. In this case, it's wheat, which is a Weight Watchers recipe that I've adapted to the bread machine (1.5 cups water, 1 t. sugar, 2 1/2 t. yeast, 1 T. olive oil, 3 cups flour, 1.5 cups wheat flour, and 1.5 t. salt). After it's done, spread it out on the pan and par bake at 475 for about 10 minutes until it starts to rise. I then spread on alfredo sauce (generally Ragu, and I plan another recipe that week to use up the rest of the jar, or in this case, plan the pizza around having some already leftover in the fridge!). I top that with shredded leftover chicken (rotisserie gives the best flavor) and other toppings like mushrooms, etc. A sprinkling of mozzarella (generally an 8 oz. bag for my large rectangular pizza) and bake at 475 for about 10 minutes. The crust costs me 55 to 60 cents, I generally use about $1 worth of the chicken, the cheese is $1.50, and I use .
