Jaden's Incentive Program: Day 1

Today was successful, in that Jaden was thorough and legible with all of his work.

He didn't finish early as I had expected because our friend, John, whom we're hiring to help with the garage conversion, came over around 10:30 this morning and stayed for a few hours to look over the project. Of course, this interruption to the daily routine was too exciting to miss, so all three kids wandered in and out of the house to the garage to see what was going on. Add to that diversion my piano lessons this afternoon (complete with several new kids to play with) and none of the kids got much work done during the day.

But they did eventually finish. And what's funny is that Jaden is right now playing on the electric keyboard, and not his Legos! Go figure!
