We've been pet-sitting a leopard gecko for a friend of ours for the last week, and we noticed today that the gecko's skin had turned white and she was much more lethargic than normal. Of course we imagined the worse, fearing the gecko would die while we were caring for it.
But earlier this evening my kids noticed that she wasn't sick at all. She was just shedding her skin. What a relief! We snapped a few pictures since this isn't something the kids had ever seen in person before.

That happened to me also recently while petsitting geckos. I wonder if they shed when moved to a new environment or if they are just frequent shedders. My experience with them was so fun I think I am going to buy some this summer
Have fun!!!
