Free Printable School Calendar for 2012-2013

Last year I shared our 2011-2102 school calendar and included a blank version that you could print out and use for your own school. In the last couple weeks, I've had numerous requests for a 2012-2013 version of the printable school calendar, so here it is!

The image below (click on it to enlarge) is our projected school calendar for the 2012-2013 school year. As I've mentioned before, we take several classes through The Potter's School, so much of our calendar is dictated by their schedule. Thankfully, except for the first term of the year, The Potter's School terms are about six weeks long with one week off in between, which is what we've found works best for us anyway.

And here's the printable school calendar you can use for your own homeschool. A reader last year suggested that a highlighter works very well for coloring each term. If you'd like, you can see a photo of her highlighted calendar here. You can use the legend at the bottom of the calendar to identify each term.

  2. FABULOUS! I love it… but we start in June due to the hot weather. So, I am going to adapt your idea but send my readers who start in August over here. (Pinned to my Homeschool Helps board.)

  6. Because I struggle – I've made 4 copies! It's been interesting seeing your school schedule change over the years. This year we will be working through July and taking off August, but primarily because we got "behind" in the Spring. But, I'm finding that we are getting so much more done in these weeks sans co-op, and all the other activities that stop or slow for summer. So I'm more secure scheduling in the summer for next year, and taking intentional breaks more frequently and when the weather is sublime and now sweltering! Anyway – thanks for sharing your experience with schedule!
