Several years ago I worked as a piano teacher in a large Christian school. One year our school invited the Christian Law Association to do a conference on legal matters pertaining to Christian ministries. It was an excellent conference and I was very impressed by CLA's ministry.
Maybe I live under a rock, but I had no idea that CLA had a branch of their ministry devoted to homeschoolers — Homeschool Legal Advantage.
I got an email this morning explaining what HLA offers, and I was very pleasantly surprised that right now homeschoolers can join HLA for free for the first year. And even after that, membership is only by suggested donation only; they don't charge a hefty annual fee.
What's more, as an HLA member, homeschoolers can get a last will and testament prepared for free by an attorney. This is something my husband and I know we've been needing to do, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
About Homeschool Legal Advantage
