Free desktop publishing software — perfect for homeschoolers!

I was so excited when Crystal posted this free Amazon.com download of a desktop publishing program. Both my girls are dying to learn how to design, and what better way for them to learn than with their own software on their own laptops?

The software's been installed only a few days, but they've spent that time watching the video tutorials and learning how to use the program. They are so excited about it! I've even gotten a few design books off my shelf and directed them to some appropriate chapters on layout and design.

I'm excited to see how much they learn!

So what are you waiting for? Go download the software!

(If you want to see a demo of the software before you take the time to download it, you can watch a video about it here.)

Thank you so much for this! I posted this on my blog as well. This is great. I used to have Publisher ? years ago but not since and miss the features.
You've posted some good things and I'm very glad I happened across your blog. Btw, your post on netbooks put me over the edge and I got one :) Now just need one more…
