And the winning piano is…

The 70-year-old Baldwin!

This afternoon I had a master piano technician do a tuning and voicing, level the keys, and regulate the action, and the Baldwin sounds absolutely wonderful! I really couldn't be more pleased with it.

Plus, I've been wanting to acquire an adjustable piano bench for my shorter students (of which I have many), and the technician brought me a used artist bench that matches the piano very well, so I purchased that from him, too.

Now, I just have to sell my other piano and I'll be set; and I'll finally be able to rearrange several bookshelves and change the "red" room" into the "piano" room!

Of course it's the Baldwin. Excellent tone, wonderful action, and much less cost than a Steinway. :)

My fiancee pointed your blog out to me. Keep up the good work.
